The NTA regularly takes initiatives to evaluate concerns raised by the playing community on its established policies and makes changes to the regulations and policies as well if necessary. In 2024, since the onset of NTA's inclusion in the Groub B Membership of nations, we were honored to participate in the ITF elections as well as participate in the World Cup of Tennis - Billie Jean King Cup (Women's) and the Davis Cup (Men's). Because the level of playing is very high, based on player situation and requirements, the NTA adopted 2 new policies and a set of regulations to accommodate players who are frequently outside of Nepal unable to compete in the National ranking Tournaments. Please follow the READ link here to understand the 1st policy and regulations regarding "Player Selection Process".
As an addition to the Player Selection Policy, the Player Protection Policy safeguards high NTA players from requiring participation in selection matches for Team representation and provides direct entry. Please follow READ link here to see the "Player Protection Policy".
